MandalasThen I found Biffybean ([link]). Her blog is just so inspiring that I decided to pick up my (ballpoint) pen and just try to draw again. This time a mandala.
She always says that drawing them should be more like a meditative experience and less of a trying to get things right. Any art that pops up is just a perk of drawing them.
I think this is the attitude that I always wanted to learn from but all of my art teachers focused on being "perfect" which is darn near impossible for me. I would rather have fun and enjoy myself.
So I challenge you to draw a mandala and have some fun with your art.

I havn't taed to you in such a long time. You gotta tell me what's up and all.
How has collage life been?
I always see all the artwork and get sad because I can't do that. I can only write and that always seems to be less exciting somehow.
Anyway, I love my classes and I am taking a Native American Literature course right now. It is fascinating. And the campus is gorgeous. I should take a few landscape pictures and put them on here just from campus. Now the trick is if I will actually do that or not. Hope you are doing well.
I haven't been on in a while either. I hardly come on anymore, actually. I miss you, you know.
I think your knitting is something to share! I liked a lot of the stuff you had, even if I didn't get to see a lot of it. There's nothing wrong with showing your stuff in different places. ^^
Writing is just as exciting if you ask me. In my case, I can't write so all the stories I come up with can't be done unless I sit down and draw it. It's not the same really and I would love to able to let me ideas flow through words sometime rather then a picture. xD
