I haven't been on here in such a long time. It looks like this site has evolved some and I am interested in actually looking at it again. I need to find my art stuff and see if I actually have anything to upload. I know I will have some more knitting to upload. Of course, I might actually take some of the badly photographed things off of here. I can photograph them nicely and put them back up if I like them. It depends. For now, I will be content lurking.

I started an art journal. Ok, I started an art journal a while ago but I finally feel comfortable with showing the pictures I worked on now. Maybe I will inspire somebody with them. Who knows? I wanted to start doing something with art that I could be proud of. I had spend a long time looking on different art journal videos on youtube. It looked like art journaling was all about the process and expressing emotions visually instead of with words. So I started my own. I am actually doing a series of (what I call) hand mandalas. I'm going to start posting them on here soon. They will be based on the seasons and they will be a good way for me to explore different things. It will be a very short running series though since there are only four seasons. That means there will be four hands. I am also going to be posting my recent discovery: crocheted hand warmers. They are deadly easy to make and I am experimenting with making the pattern.
